The Universal Hint System is designed to give you just the hints you need to solve hundreds of computer games, so you can have more fun by finishing the game on your own. This program will allow you to download and view all of our hints.
The UHS Reader for Windows works like most other hypertext programs, like your web browser or the standard Windows Help program. You can open a new topic in this help file or in any of our game hint files by using your mouse to click on a link, which is shown in colored text. If you prefer to use the keyboard, press TAB to move the dotted selection box and press ENTER when the link you want is selected.
-Have more fun solving the game on your own. Unlike spoilersome walkthroughs, the UHS shows you just the hints you need. Select specific questions and view hints in progressively detailed steps.
-Get the hints you need quickly and conveniently. The UHS Readers let you download our hints once and then keep them on your computer, so you don't have to connect to our web site every time you're stuck.
-Find hints more easily. If for some reason, you can't find the hints you need through the regular list of questions, the UHS Reader for Windows lets you search an entire hint file for whatever phrase you want to. (Windows version only.)
-Print the hints for easy reference. Print out the full contents of any hint file, and keep them next to you while you're playing the game. Make your own printed "strategy guide," but one with the UHS's style of subtle hints. (Windows version only.)
-Hints for hundreds of games are available. Our hints cover everything from the classic adventures to the latest adventure and role-playing titles. You also receive any hints we release for the next 3 years for free when you buy your UHS Reader.
